It was almost a year ago now that we locked the doors to our Bendix Building offices in downtown Los Angeles. It was a bit of a find and a hard decision to close the doors. Penthouse location, private roof access, natural light for taking photos -- you get the picture. But life had changed since we moved back to Los Angeles.

In the past 8 years we have been in business we have always produced our product in the USA. It has only been the last three, with the introduction of organic bedding, that customers have been saying WOW THAT'S GREAT THAT YOU MANUFACTURE IN THE USA!

Buying products made in the USA directly and wholly supports our domestic economy. Every expense and every dollar we spend as company is going to another business or person in the US.

I am a theoretical crafter. I'm totally transfixed by those that make cool things and often have an "I could do that" moment; but rarely do I execute.

I've been thinking alot about the word "value" both as a mama, a business owner and a consumer. In these unsure economic times it is more and more evident that we need to make sound and worthy choices. In other words choices that reflect our values. Value is more than dollars and cents. In fact it has less to do with the price tag and more with the entire chain of events leading to a product.

I'm excited to let you know that Pixel Organics layette collection is now being featured in Whole Foods Market stores throughout the Southwest and North Atlantic regions! Pixel Organics exhibited at the ABC show and loved it, again! I do need to say that seven days in Las Vegas is like an extreme sport challenge. At least next year will be only six days.
