ABC SHOW
Submitted by Chris on Thu, 09/18/2008 - 10:35am.Pixel Organics exhibited at the ABC show and loved it, again! I do need to say that seven days in Las Vegas is like an extreme sport challenge. At least next year will be only six days.
Our new bedding sets will be available November 15th and our solid sheet programs will start soon after that.
Stay tuned.
Let's talk about misleading consumers

Greenwashing 101
Submitted by Chris on Thu, 06/05/2008 - 4:17pm.What is greenwashing?
Let's look at the the internet says and Wikipedia says it best -
"Greenwashing (a portmanteau of green and whitewash) is a term that is used to describe the act of misleading consumers regarding the environmental practices of a company or the environmental benefits of a product or service. The term Green sheen has similarly been used to describe organizations which attempt to appear that they are adopting practices beneficial to the environment."
Why offer responsible products?
Submitted by Chris on Wed, 05/07/2008 - 10:47am.If you have not heard the news yesterday about infant furniture I would like to share it with you. It's not a panic situation, although it is cause for concern. There is a new study released yesterday, a study of cribs and changing tables found in stores such as Target, Wal-Mart and Babies "R" Us. A half-dozen baby products, out of 21 tested, emitted formaldehyde at levels high enough to trigger allergy and asthma attacks in children. The report also pointed out that no government agency tests items given to children for such possible off-gassing.
Made in the USA
Submitted by Chris on Sat, 06/30/2007 - 11:12am.Pixel is green, domestic, organic, and modern all at the same time.
Choosing to make all our products in the USA is another way Pixel is going green. Does it make sense to create an environmentally friendly product and then stick it on a large fossil fueled boat to get it to our shores? Pixel is 100 percent made in the USA and manufactured in Los Angeles in a sweatshop free environment.

When choosing to keep or change your home to be environmentally friendly one should really begin with the children. I have started cleaning my kids bath tub with an all natural cleanser Greenwood Naturals made by EO Products.. Who wants them soaking in harmful often toxic residues. See Green Your Home for tips on keeping a green home. A natural progression would be organic bedding and green furniture that uses non-voc paints. One site I came across satisfying all my needs was Pixel Organics
Thanks design is mine!

I am really loving the children's bedding patterns from Pixel Organics. Great design, adorable, and would be great for any child to curl up in.
